Welcome to SpiritWinds Flutes, making handcrafted instruments since 1998. Based in North Queensland, Australia and surrounded by an incredible range of timbers unique to this part of the world, we source only sustainably derived timbers, and take great pleasure in sourcing and recycling old building materials, furniture, and salvaged old growth species from our local World Heritage listed environment.

Our craftsmanship has always been focused on producing instruments that will last more than a lifetime, to become an heirloom passed down the generations. Using only hand tools for production and sticking to a philosophy of quality, simplicity and utility, we aim to ensure that the life of the tree that came before the instrument reverberates through each song played.
